G0619 6" x 21" Mill / Drill And I love it. It's really just a fancy drill press, but for the part time builder it works like a champ. It is fine for milling aluminium, but not so good for milling steel (like trying to mill your own dropouts from steel plate...milling the slot in frame tubes is fine).

The G0619 is a bigger machine. This is my first mill and there is a learning curve. I have melted some gears and blown the speed control and main control unit. Griz replaced all components for free but the machine has been down alot of the time. I think the issue was that I was using a three insert face mill that is 2 inches in diameter.

I use a mill drill and won´t say anything bad about it. Holds close tolerances, loads of space on the table, pretty silent compared to a geared machine of asian origin. 5" quill travel. Rock solid, the ways are 10" wide, square and to the level. The column is shimmed rectangular to the table to below 0,001/6" with ease in x and y.
